The Holiday Has Really Boosted My Confidence

On being diagnosed with cancer and the subsequent treatments and operations, I felt my body had let me down in a big way and I lost a lot of confidence. The holiday has really boosted my confidence; for a week I swam and did things I never ever thought I would do and I did not think about cancer for more than a fleeting moment the whole week.
